Welch Consulting Employment Index Backs off Highs in October

The Welch Consulting Employment Index retreated in October, falling from its recent high of 101.1 to 100.9. The index is still near its highest level since July, 2008.

Welch Consulting Employment Index Shows Gains in September

The Welch Consulting Employment Index advanced in September, rising a strong six-tenths of a point to 101.1. The index is at its highest level since July, 2008. The index for women has hit a record high of 103.9, eclipsing levels last seen in 2007.

Welch Consulting Employment Index Takes a Step Back in August

The Welch Consulting Employment Index pulled back in August, falling two-tenths of a point to 100.5. The index has been bouncing up and down in a range between 100.4 and 100.7 since March of this year.
